Grace-Calvary Episcopal Church is open to all people for communion with God and each other in Christ. Within and beyond this historic Church we strive to do God’s work; nurturing our spirits, reaching out to those in need, valuing and caring for the diversity of God’s creation.
We are a diverse and welcoming community of people who support each other in our spiritual lives. Whoever you are, you are welcome here. This is a church for people who ask questions, make mistakes, and enjoy being human in the light of God’s love.
Our church family consists of “liberals” and “conservatives” and everything in between. We value our diversity – differences in income, the work we do, where we grew up, and the ways we interpret scripture. We would love to become more diverse than we are now. All this adds to the richness of our community.
Our ability to come before God, acknowledging and valuing our differences, brings added life to our worship together.
We’re a growing church. Our church family includes all ages. So we are constantly adjusting our programs to meet the spiritual needs of people of all ages.
We’re an evolving church. We love our liturgy and traditions. We also keep changing – trying new ways to become more the church Jesus wants us to be.
